Essential:
- Broad experience in electrical engineering, preferably with experience of some of the following electrical systems; HV/MV distribution, LV distribution, protection systems, C&I systems, electrical machines including synchronous motor, frequency changers, diesel alternators
- Experience of working within the nuclear industry or any other high hazard industry, although this is not considered essential.
- Ability to provide practical, creative and cost-effective solutions for design changes / modifications of plant and supporting Infrastructure.
- A good understanding of British and international design standards.
- A track record of making intelligent evidence based decisions using various sources of data.
- Good skills in verbal and written communication.
- The ability to effectively manage and prioritise your own workload
- HNC or equivalent qualifications and experience in a relevant engineering discipline
- Detailed knowledge of the Design Intent for Electrical Infrastructure in the nuclear industry or similar industry
Desirable:
- Incorporated Engineer status or equivalent experience and standing
- Degree or equivalent qualifications and experience in a relevant engineering discipline
