Summary
the pitchJoin our team as a Site Engineer, where you will play a crucial role in the day-to-day operational site control of contracts within the UK. You will be responsible for managing projects on-site, preparing budgets, programming works, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. This position is predominantly based in the North of England and requires a civil engineering related degree, experience in the construction field, and a full UK driving license.

- Civil Engineering related degree, preferably with some geotechnical content
- Knowledge of basic engineering techniques
- Experience within civil engineering or construction field
- Experience within the Piling and Foundations sector would be an advantage
- Mini-piling experience preferred but not essential
- Full UK Driving Licence
- CSCS Card
- Computer Literate including good working knowledge of Excel & Word
Key responsibilities
- On-site management of projects covering the technical, administration and commercial aspects of the project.
- Prepare budgets to ensure that the job will return sufficient money and to ensure that there has been no shortfalls within the estimate.
- Liaise with clients keeping them up to date on site works and any changes in costs/extension of time/extra work.
