Job Description

We are looking for a warehouse operative to work in our warehouse operations and associated activities in our Loughton location.

Your role in our future

  • In liaison with your supervisor, to ensure the smooth operation of the Logistics Warehouse in specification to ISO9001 standards.
  • To maintain an overview of departmental and company procedures and discharge any specific responsibilities contained within them.
  • Responsible for Picking, packing and despatching of consumables, spare parts and finished goods.
  • Operating a company vehicle to transport products within the organization and to and from external locations.
  • Receiving and booking goods in, of deliveries.
  • Ensuring the highest level of good housekeeping is maintained within your department at all times. 
  • Accurate input of data onto SAP / MFG computer system.
  • To immediately advise your supervisor of any anticipated problems which may have a detrimental effect on production output and deadlines.
  • To help coach and develop current and any future staff within your department, as requested by your supervisor.
  • To inform and appraise your supervisor as necessary.
  • To follow the department dress code.
  • To ensure that at all times, in the discharge of responsibilities, the requirements of Health and Safety at Work are met.

 

Key responsibilities
