Summary
the pitchJoin NUVIA UK, a fast-growing company in the Technical Services & Consulting department. As a Principal EC&I Engineer, you will lead the design of CE&I electrical systems for projects in the FEED pipeline. You will be responsible for producing and checking engineering deliverables, providing technical support, and collaborating with an integrated design team. This is a hybrid position based in Birchwood Park, Warrington, with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home.

- Must have significant demonstratable experience in CE&I Project Delivery:
- Experience of delivering CE&I design packages - Translating user requirements and technical specification into fully engineered, safe and legal design solution.
- Experience of space management, panel layouts, cable routing, cable management and cable calculations.
- Have the ability to work as part of an Integrated delivery team, and individually, working within sometimes restrictive time constraints.
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Have strong interpersonal skills and be able to interact with people at all levels.
- Process Instrumentation Design.
- Electrical Power and Services Design at LV.
- Knowledge of CE&I Safety Systems
- Programmable Electronic Systems.
- Radiometric Instrumentation.
- Estimate & schedule production and progress reporting.
- The ability to work collaboratively in a team environment is essential.
- Minimum: ONC
- Preferred: Engineering degree (Beng/MEng)
Desirable Experience:
- Management of design delivery teams
- Machinery Safety and UKCA Marking.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and take responsibility for the delivery of the design aspects of the project, working with a small integrated design team.
- Contribute to the production of multi-discipline design documentation such as Project Requirement Documents, Basis of Design, Project Verification Plans.
- Production, Review / checking of design document and CE&I deliverables from other CE&I engineers/designers.
