Qualifications for the Radiation Protection Advisor
· RPA2000 Certified Radiation Protection Adviser is essential.
· Previous expeirence in the provision of radiation protection advice
· Ability to mentor trainees as and when required
· Science related degree or equivalent experience.

Key responsibilities
- Act as a technical expert for Radiation Protection, providing advice and ensuring compliance with legislation.
- Evaluate operating environments and tailor health physics services to develop appropriate safe systems of work.
- Mentor trainee Radiation Protection Advisors and lead the technical delivery of other Radiation Protection personnel.
