Summary
the pitchJoin Xero as a Senior Strategic Finance Manager, where you'll be the key finance partner to the UK go-to-market organization. This role requires strong analytical skills, experience in strategic finance, and the ability to influence decisions through financial analysis and commercial insight.

- Strong performance-analysis skills, with the ability to identify what is driving results rather than simply report them
- 8+ years’ experience in strategic, commercial or GTM finance, FP&A, strategy consulting or investment banking, with a track record of using rigorous analysis to inform planning, investment or commercial decisions in a complex business environment
- Experience partnering with senior GTM, commercial, or regional business leaders and influencing decisions through financial analysis and commercial insight
- Digital and AI fluency: You are comfortable using modern data, automation and AI-enabled tools to improve the speed, quality and scalability of financial analysis, modelling and reporting
- Strong financial modelling skills, including scenario analysis, investment evaluation and business cases
- The ability to explain complex financial issues clearly and turn them into practical options and recommendations
- Strong commercial judgement and the confidence to challenge assumptions constructively
- Experience in a high-growth technology or SaaS environment
- Experience supporting a regional leadership team or market-level P&L
- A professional qualification such as ACA, CFA or CPA
- Experience using data visualisation or reporting tools to communicate insights clearly
