We are seeking a highly skilled z/OS Mainframe Storage Engineer to manage and optimize our enterprise mainframe storage infrastructure. This remote position offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work with a global team.
Key responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of mainframe disk and storage administration, including installation, removal, upgrades, updates, provisioning, restoration, and ongoing support.
- Plan and implement storage capacity expansions and infrastructure changes, and configure, administer, and maintain storage resources supporting databases, VSAM files, work datasets, and sort spaces.
- Collaborate with systems programming, network, database, and application teams to ensure seamless service delivery, and utilize automation tools to improve operational efficiency.
