Join Soil Engineering, a leading geotechnical company, as a Contracts Manager. In this fast-paced role, you will manage day-to-day operational site control of ground investigation and geotechnical projects throughout the UK. You will focus on safety, quality, productivity, cost control, performance to programme, and customer service. Ideal candidates will have proven experience in contracts management, particularly within the infrastructure and energy sectors, and possess strong communication skills. This position is based in our Leeds office and requires regular travel to office and site locations.

We are looking for qualified candidates with significant experience within the geotechnical industry, with a solid understanding of ground conditions, Drilling and Site Investigation works.

Candidates should have a good understanding of geotechnical processes and contract management with an excellent understanding of written English and a good understanding of letter writing. Candidates must have good customer-service focus and a professional approach, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to liaise with clients and members of the regional team.

Full UK Driving License Required.

Previous work experience within the construction Industry is essential. Experience of living and working away from home would be an advantage. Must be willing to learn and be flexible in terms of work and location. For Health & Safety reasons and site requirements, applicants must be aged 18 years or above.

The job will involve frequent travel to sites throughout the UK, and will involve working/lodging away from home, as such, applicants must be flexible in terms of work and location.
