This is a remote position, with occasional preference for Sheffield, UK.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain DB2 for z/OS environments, supporting a large-scale enterprise DB2 infrastructure.
- Plan and execute DB2 version upgrades, migrations, and maintenance implementations, ensuring the stability, integrity, availability, and performance of DB2 databases.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for applications utilizing DB2, troubleshooting and resolving complex database and infrastructure issues.
