Join our team as a Health Physics Supervisor, where you will lead a small team of Health Physics Monitors during graphite core inspection, sampling, and maintenance activities. You will ensure adherence to radiological protection standards and site safety procedures, provide on-the-job guidance, deliver training and coaching, and maintain accurate records and documentation. You will also interface with EDF and client personnel, provide timely reporting to the Health Physics Package Manager, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Requirements:  

·       Proven experience in Health Physics within the nuclear industry, ideally in reactor or outage environments  

·       Previous supervisory or team-leading experience  

·       Strong knowledge of UK radiological protection standards and site licence requirements  

·       Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with both internal teams and client representatives  

·       Demonstrable commitment to safety culture and human performance principles  

·       Experience in training, mentoring, and developing personnel  

·       Ability to work under pressure in a highly regulated environment   

·       Experience working on graphite core inspection or similar reactor-based projects  

·       Relevant Health Physics qualifications (e.g. City & Guilds Radiation Safety Practice or equivalent)  

·       Familiarity with EDF systems and processes
