- The service provider shall demonstrate extensive experience delivering environmental engineering activities within large, complex programmes.
- Expert knowledge of environmental legislation and standards.
- Proven application of BAT and ENVID methodologies.
- The capability to operate effectively within a multi-disciplinary, high-hazard engineering environment.
- Experience in emergent or first-of-a-kind design environments would be particularly valuable.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the development and maintenance of the Environment Case, ensuring alignment with the STEP design and Safety Case.
- Define and communicate environmental and sustainability strategy for plant design, integrating design for environment through assessments and workshops.
- Assess environmental risks, develop mitigation strategies, and support their implementation across engineering disciplines and delivery teams.
