Purpose of the job

Working closely with senior programme leads, delivery teams, and external stakeholders, the Programme Manager will act as a central interface, coordinating engagement, forward planning, and governance across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment with wider objectives and strategic priorities.

This is a programme‑level role, not a single‑project delivery position, and will suit someone comfortable operating across large, regulated, stakeholder‑heavy environments.

Key responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain robust governance and reporting arrangements for major infrastructure and transformation programmes.
  • Act as the central interface between infrastructure programmes, stakeholders, and external partners, ensuring the right subject matter experts are engaged at the right time.
  • Support the development and execution of stakeholder engagement strategies, improving collaboration, clarity, and alignment across infrastructure activities.
