the pitchJoin our team as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and be a strategic financial partner to our CEO and executive team. This is not a back-office finance role; you will shape our growth, investment strategies, risk management, and financial discipline as we scale from a high-growth consultancy to a global leader in data and AI. You will oversee enterprise risk and governance, capital and cash strategy, funding, transformation, and value creation. You will work closely with the executive team, investors, and banking partners, and lead a small finance team. This role requires senior finance leadership experience in a consulting or professional services environment, ideally within technology, data, or AI consultancies.

- Experience leading and growing a finance team - you know how to get the most from a small team today and how to scale it sensibly tomorrow
- Senior finance leadership experience in a consulting or professional services environment, ideally within technology, data or AI consultancies
- Multi-jurisdictional financial operations, ideally across the UK, EU, US and emerging markets
- Comfort with the financial mechanics of a people-led, project-based business: utilisation, bench, revenue recognition, multi-currency
- Comfortable and confident with finance technology, with a strong appetite for adopting and getting the most out of new tools and systems
- Proven track record at CFO or deputy-CFO level, or a finance director who is genuinely ready for the step up
- Sees technology as an enabler of a better finance function
- You've operated across the scale spectrum - you know what an early-stage startup needs, what a scale-up needs, and what an enterprise needs, because you've built finance functions through more than one of those stages
- Funding experience - whether through debt facilities, equity raises, or both
- Direct experience with Exec team and audit committee engagement
- You bring rigour without bureaucracy. Life is too short for red tape
- You think strategically before you think operationally - and you can do both
