Join Nuvia UK, a leading engineering and construction company, as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor. Based in Warrington, Cheshire, you will support the commercial and contract management of projects from inception to final account. You will work closely with project teams and support functions, building strong relationships with clients and the supply chain. This is an excellent opportunity for ambitious professionals with a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related subject and at least 2 years of experience in the industry.

Qualifications and Experience

Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying or in related subject (candidates with appropriate experience may be considered)
2+ years of experience in quantity surveying in the nuclear, engineering or construction industry
Working knowledge of the NEC suite of contracts (particularly Options C & E)
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to build good relationships with project teams, clients, and the supply chain
Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
PC literate in the Microsoft Office suite
Desirable

Experience of using the CEMAR Contract Management System
Full UK driving licence
Flexibility to travel to other UK offices and sites on occasion as necessary
