What previous experience or qualifications would the individual need

 

Duties and Requirements

- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering discipline, with a focus on electrical being preferred

- Holds, or has the ability to achieve, a valid ECS Gold Card (Installation Electrician or Maintenance Electrician) or the ECS HERS (Highway Electrical Registration Scheme) Card
- Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience in equipment installation, maintenance, or repair is preferred.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, software, and equipment manuals.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites as needed.

Key responsibilities

  • Installation and setup of new equipment and machinery at customer sites, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
  • Performing routine maintenance, conducting inspections, and troubleshooting equipment malfunctions to minimize downtime.
  • Maintaining detailed records of equipment installations, maintenance, and service activities, and generating service reports.
