Summary
the pitchJoin NUVIA UK, a fast-growing company in the Technical Services & Consulting department. As a Senior EC&I Design Engineer, you will develop and deliver CE&I design solutions, support plant configuration walk downs, and attend design reviews. You should have experience in producing both instrumental and electrical designs, knowledge of CDM regulations, and proficiency in AutoCAD. A degree in a relevant engineering discipline or equivalent qualifications is required.
Role
posted by company- Competent and proven CE&I Design Engineer, capable of producing designs, schemes, drawings and supporting calculations.
- Knowledge and experience of producing both Instrumental and Electrical designs.
- Understanding the roles and application of the CDM regulations.
- Previous experience producing design packages, suitable for manufacture and installation, containing drawings, method statements, risk assessments etc.
- Production of design drawings in AutoCAD.
- Degree in relevant engineering discipline with at least 2 years design delivery experience or other qualifications. Such as BTEC, HNC, HND with 5-8 years design delivery experience.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and deliver CE&I design solutions in response to problem definitions and project functional specifications from the client.
- Work within the current CE&I team to deliver CE&I design against the schedule and support meeting key delivery milestones.
- Support plant configuration walk downs to confirm and record task baseline details, or the production of the outline design schemes.
