About the opportunity

Scarlet certifies devices globally and continues to expand into new medical areas. Today’s growth is an exciting inflection point.

The operating model is a complex distribution of resources. We are looking for a second Finance hire to help build and optimise infrastructure that underpins a high-performing organisation.

To exceed in this role will require a robust grasp of Scarlet’s end-to-end business model in order to understand how it will scale financially and operationally.

Who you are

  • Experience: 3-5 years working with financial and accounting data. This includes banking, advisory, consulting, economics, accounting, and data analytics.

  • Rigorous: you form arguments using first-principles, solve problems creatively and independently, and reason decisions pragmatically.

  • Communication: your written and verbal communication is well-structured, precise and follows MECE principles.

  • Ambitious: you are driven, high agency, and eager to develop in a high-growth environment that constantly evolves.

  • Technical capability: you can use software to integrate data and automate workflows across operational and financial systems, plus use AI tools to leverage productivity.

  • Curiosity: you care to understand deeply how things work and challenge the status quo.

  • Emotional intelligence: you are low-ego, trustworthy and empathetic when working with peers.

Desirable

  • A qualification or training in accounting and/or finance.

What the job involves

  • Accounting: optimise accounting functions and surface real-time analytics for each financial statement.

  • Finance: refine software and data flows to build autonomous, high-leverage financial operations.

  • Business experience: create scalable, cross-functional infrastructure that combines financial, commercial and operational data.

  • Unit economics: generate repeatable insights to the unit cost and profitability of Scarlet’s services.

  • FP & A : contribute to modelling and analysis around scaling Scarlet’s business model.
